Sky Green's Brief

Brief:

Create awareness of the brand and the new city/urban farming system that is coming to UK Cities including London, Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham. Increase customer base and ultimately sales.

Concept:
Height- Create a campaign using a semantic field of height, including both lexical and graphological choices that depict height.
The create choice of height explains the concept of verticle farming in a relaxed fun tone, which the brief required.

Tag line: At The Height of Farming

Deliverables had to include 3 A4 portrait posters and a mock up for an inside page of a brochure.

Below I have created some copy which could be featured in the brouchure which has been designed below.

 Copy 1:

When we’re living in a world which is vastly appearing to look like a concrete jungle, and the grass is definitely not looking greener on the other side, it can be hard to picture where farming is going to find its place in our ever growing planet. You turn right you bump into someone, you turn left you walk into office block, but what about when you look up? Here at Sky Greens, we’ve produced the world’s first low carbon, hydraulic driven vertical farm, which through innovation and sustainable technology aims to change the height of farming forever. By looking to the sky for answers we aim to use green solutions to achieve production of safe, fresh and delicious vegetables using minimal land, water and energy resources. While were busy doing all this was also promise to reduce logistical pollution, and reduce exhaustion of land and deforestation.  So you see, the sky’s really not the limit, and who knows what the future holds, maybe next we shall really see pigs fly?

Copy 2:

It’s not just the sky we are looking to for solutions here at Sky Green. We also looking somewhere else that’s blue. Yes that’s right, our secret way of getting around pesticides and contaminants is to use fish to give our water all the nutrient richness it needs to produce fresh and delicious crops. So you see, fish have many more uses than great sushi or giving a good pedicure.
Sky Greens, saving fish from pedicures since 09.

Here I have inluded some scamps to show my initial thought and art direction ideas. As you can see the brochure stayed true to the design elements of the scamps. However, the art direction for the posters was too over powering for the copy, once I had created them as Mac visuals. I therefore went for a simpler design for the final posters, as I felt this suited the copy and tone of the posters better.
